Locals are often seen walking around the Iloilo River Esplanade, exercising at the city’s sports complex, and riding a bike around the city. One of the open-air shopping centers that are open is The Shops at Atria in the 21-hectare Atria Park District in Iloilo. The airy shopping destination houses upscale stores in a gorgeous outdoor setting. Located within the district’s approximately 8,000 square meters of land, the outdoor shopping center offers casual dining concepts, local homegrown establishments, a supermarket, and basic retail and services. Occasionally, the one-story outdoor mall hosts community-oriented activities such as “Tienda sa Atria” where small and medium entrepreneurs showcase goods and services at the park’s open spaces.
