A reunion concert, benefit concerts, and even a concert with a buffet to go with it—these are just some of the events in store for you. Read on and discover the concerts in Cebu for November 2018.


1. Music Night with Organic Buffet

Another benefit concert is set to be held in Cebu on November 11. The Rise Up and Unite Advocacy Concert aims to bring social awareness on today’s most pressing societal issues. The event highlights the Cebuanos’ passion for change and their love for OPM songs. Headlining the event are December Avenue, The Ransom Collective, and Silent Sanctuary. One of the beneficiaries of the concert is Cebu Mental Health Week, which aims to increase awareness and eliminate the stigma of mental health.

How to get to Southwestern University PHINMA: From SM City Cebu, you can take a jeepney headed toor Urgello Street and get off at the gate of Southwestern University.

Tip: Take note of the opening acts or pre-show bands since these are upcoming bands that may become one of your favorite bands in the future.


3. In Real Life

Where: SM Seaside City Cebu, Cebu City

Newly-formed boy band In Real Life brings their music to the Queen City of the South in a free concert in November.

In Real Life is bringing their act to the Queen City of the South as they hold a free concert at the SM Seaside City on November 11. Composed of the five final vocalists of the American reality television show Boy Band, the group premiered their debut single, “Eyes Closed,” in 2017. The members of the group are Brady Tutton, Drew Ramos, Chance Perez, Michael Conor, and Sergio Calderon.

How to get to SM Seaside City Cebu: From SM City Cebu, take a MyBus ride to SM Seaside City Cebu.

Tip: Getting to the free concert venue early is a good way for you to ensure a good seat in front of the stage.


4. My Heart Will Go On II

The My Heart Will Go On II benefit concert will have some of the finest local bands led by The Ambassadors and Stif.

If you are looking to have fun while doing your good deed for the day, attending the “My Heart Will Go On II” will be the best thing to do in November. It is a concert for the benefit of Franz Ryiel, who was born with a congenital heart defect. With ten local bands performing, it will be a night of fun and entertainment and will go a long way in helping Franz receive his second open-heart surgery.

How to get to the Lapu-Lapu City Auditorium: From Parkmall, get on a van for hire or jeepney headed for the Lapu-Lapu City Jeepney Terminal. From the jeepney, ride a jeepney passing by the Opon Plaza. The Lapu-Lapu City Auditorium is right beside the plaza.

Tip: Resist the temptation of taking out your smartphone and holding it up to record the concert. Aside from not being able to enjoy the concert, you will be blocking the view of the people behind.


5. Tagpuan

When: November 17, 2018

The Voice of the Philippines contender takes the center stage as she croons out hugot melodies for a one-night concert in November.

OPM (original Pinoy music) fans are in for a treat as Moira Dela Torre is set to fill the air with hugot melodies at her Tagpuan concert at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino. It will be a spectacular night of music with The Voice of the Philippines contender. She will be joined on stage by Ms. Janina Vela and Ms. Yeng Constantino.

How to get to Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino: From Ayala Center Cebu, you can ride a jeepney headed for Lahug and get off at Cebu IT Park. The hotel is located right across Cebu IT Park.

Tip: Dressing comfortably at a concert is important to allow you to enjoy the event from start to finish.


6. The Moffatts Live in Cebu

Where: Hoops Dome Arena, Lapu-Lapu City
When: November 23, 2018

Cebuano fans of The Moffatts can look forward to seeing their idols perform on stage at the Hoops Dome in on November 23.

A year since their farewell tour in Manila, The Moffats is coming back for a reunion tour. Scott, Bob, Clint, and Dave will bring back fond memories of the songs that made them one of the biggest bands in the ‘90s. Fans can look forward to songs such as "Miss You Like Crazy” and “If Life is Short” filling the air of the Hoops Dome Arena in Lapu-Lapu City.

How to get to the Hoops Dome Arena: From SM City Cebu, get on a van for hire headed for the Opon Public Market. At the market, ride a jeepney passing by the Hoops Dome Arena.

Tip: Buying tickets through reputable third-party ticketing sites may get you a good deal from people who may not be able to watch the concert.
