Who are the sexiest female celebrities to hit the Philippine beaches this 2017?

Summer is synonymous with bikini season, which means ladies have to sweat it out to achieve their ideal beach body. While doing so, it never hurts to turn to celebrities for some fitspiration!
We asked our readers which local female celebrities they think have the best summer bod and came up with this poll. Read on to find out who topped our survey!
10. Ellen Adarna

Starting off this list is Ellen Adarna, who is a certified heartthrob with her porcelain white skin and fabulous figure. Ellen has been linked to the likes of presidential son Baste Duterte and most recently, Pietro Boselli, the world’s hottest math teacher. This 5’1” Cebuana beauty became Internet-famous after her Friendster photos were used to make fake Facebook accounts. She broke into showbiz in 2010 and is now a model and actress with magazine covers, endorsements, films, and TV shows to her name.
To keep her body in tip-top shape, Ellen works out from the comfort of her own home. She does Zumba, yoga, boxing, and high-intensity interval training (HIIT). She opts for healthy, unprocessed food and drinks lots of fruit and vegetable juice daily.
9. Jennylyn Mercado

Moms can be sexy too, the best proof of which is 29-year old multi-awarded actress and Kapuso star Jennylyn Mercado. Jennylyn, who landed in the ninth spot in our list, has a seven-year-old son named Jazz. She got her big break after she won the reality show Starstuck in 2003. Dubbed as the Ultimate Star,” her recent movies include Walang Forever, The Prenup, and English Only, Please.
Since 2004, Jennylyn has figured prominently in FHM Philippines’ List of 100 Sexiest Women in the World. The secret to her enviable figure is a very active lifestyle and eating healthy most of the time. She does biking, yoga, plana forma, Balintawak Eskrima (Filipino martial arts), Pilates, running, and swimming.
8. Jinri Park

Korean beauty Jinri Park has won the hearts of Filipinos, as shown in her rankings in FHM Philippines’ list of 100 Sexiest Women in the World for five consecutive years. ShoppersGuide readers certainly agree, as she sealed the eighth place in this survey. This former Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) housemate is multi-talented: she is a model, DJ, magazine columnist, actress, and TV host. Aside from that, she has her own book The Jinri Experience.
Though she is a self-confessed foodie, Jinri follows a strict lacto-vegetarian diet with no meat, eggs, poultry, or fish. She keeps fit by hitting the gym three times a week and does core and caveman training.
7. Sarah Lahbati

People might remember Sarah Labati from the catchy jingle of a milk brand. But long before she urged moms to check the label, she got her foot in the door when she became the StarStruck V Ultimate Female Survivor in 2010 and took on a string of projects with GMA. Nowadays, the Swiss-Filipino is known as the Dance Goddess in ABS-CBN variety show ASAP. She is set to play a drug addict in the upcoming film Kamandag ng Droga (Drug’s Poison) by Carlo J. Caparas.
Sarah sums up her fitness philosophy by saying that workouts should be fun. She does boxing, muay thai (Thai combat sports), and strength training.
6. Sam Pinto

Sam Pinto, another former PBB housemate, lands sixth in our poll. The 27-year-old actress and model has been named the Sexiest Woman in the World by FHM Philippines in 2011 and 2012. She can be currently seen in the small screen as femme fatale Isabel in the ABS-CBN primetime soap Ang Probinsiyano.
The key to her toned physique is everyday exercise and eating healthy food. Sam also shares that surfing keeps her fit since it’s a full-body workout. It seems she has embraced the surfer lifestyle: she has her own swimwear line called Sirena, and plans to open a surf resort in Baler.

5. Janine Gutierrez

Janine Gutierrez made a buzz last year when she posed as a calendar girl for gas company Petron. The photos show off her long legs and toned abs, marking her transition from her sweet, girl-next-door image to a sultrier, more mature aura.
Janine bears an uncanny resemblance to her paternal grandmother, pop singer Pilita Corrales. Apparently, showbiz runs in the blood, as her parents are Ramon Cristopher Gutierrez and Lotlot de Leon, who shot to fame through their love team in the 80s.
A combination of pilates, yoga, and cardio helps Janine maintain her physique. She tries to eat healthy as much as possible but admits to having a weakness for fast food.
4. Angel Locsin

Taking the fourth spot is Angel Locsin, who is best known for playing female superhero Darna on TV. She was set to reprise the character for the big screen, but the project was stalled after she suffered a spine injury in 2015. Following advice from her doctors to avoid strenuous activities, Angel came to a mutual decision with ABS-CBN and Star Cinema not to take on the role. Despite this, other projects are already lined up for her, including a special appearance in upcoming horror-action fantasy drama “La Luna Sangre,” as well as two movies.
Angel makes exercise a part of her life by doing cardio, weights, hiking, and scuba diving. Now that she has recovered from her spine surgery, Angel is proud to have hiked six mountains in three weeks.
3. Liza Soberano

Not only is Liza Soberano one of the most beautiful faces in Philippine showbiz, she also has a summer-ready body according to ShoppersGuide readers which earned her the third spot in this poll. The Fil-Am actress and Kapamilya star landed second in the ranking of the 100 Most Beautiful Faces of 2016 by TC Candler and the Independent Critics List.
Coincidentally, Liza’s current endorsements also evolve around summer. She is the face of the Summer Beauty Goals campaign by Belo Medical Group, and is a model for local eyewear and lifestyle brand Sunnies Studios.
Liza keeps her body toned by doing side crunches. She also loves running and enjoys mixed martial arts.

Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach is a real pro when it comes to showing off her curves. Her modeling skills enable her to project that smoldering stare which makes her bikini pics sizzle every time. Even if she has passed on the crown to her successor, Pia will still be working with the Miss Universe Organization after she signed a three-year contract with IMG Universe. She has an upcoming TV appearance as a guest judge in the fifth season of Asia’s Next Top Model, as well as offers to return to showbiz.
Pia keeps her body bikini-worthy by doing a lot of weight training and some light cardio exercises. As for her diet, she goes for protein-rich foods but eats out for sushi or pizza sometimes.

Taking the top spot is Viva Princess Nadine Lustre, whose body became a hot topic ever since she posted her bikini pics online. The 23-year-old star of Till I Met You is the other half of the popular JaDine love team together with her co-star and real-life boyfriend James Reid. With a number of films, TV shows, endorsements, and an album under her belt, Nadine’s star continues to shine as proven by her win at the 2017 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards for favorite Pinoy star.
Recently, Nadine flaunted her enviable figure yet again by wearing lingerie in a photo shoot for Luster, her upcoming perfume line. While she has admitted that she does not have a strict diet, Nadine does work out and goes boxing.
