When days of sunshine and blue skies are gone because rains and thunderstorms are taking over, but you and your crew are still itching to chill outside, what do you do?

Don’t worry if the bad weather is not permitting you to travel on the road, and you can still have a great weekend with your friends—even if it means just staying nearby and spending time inside your favorite malls! Here are some fun mall games and mall activities you can do inside your next-door shopping center in Manila

If you and your friends are not that into physical activities but are more into mind games, you can try Mystery Manila. You and your friends will need to put together puzzles, find clues, and solve mysteries in under an hour until you find a way out. Just make sure not to blame any of your friends if you run out of time.

You can visit this mall game and mall activities in Ayala Malls on The 30th and select one of their three mystery rooms. You can be part of rebel resistance or become a wizard or a detective for a day and outwit your friends. The price per game starts at PhP550 per person for a group of two people, but the more friends you bring, the cheaper the rates will be.

3. Breakout Philippines

Another escape room in metro Manila that you and your friends can try is Breakout Philippines. They also offer themed rooms that you need to solve within 45 minutes, or you’ll be trapped forever! But kidding aside, one great thing about these mall games and mall activities is if you and your friends failed the first time, you could try again for half the price if you’re a member! This way, no one will point fingers at whose fault it is in case you run out of time.

Breakout Philippines’ branch in The Block, SM North EDSA offers great themed rooms that will make your hair stand. From zombies to deadly diseases, you can be part of a great storyline until you break out. Their weekday rates start at PhP300, and their weekend rates from Friday to Sunday start at PhP600 but will get cheaper depending on the number of players.

4. Thrill rides at SM MOA By the Bay Amusement Park

Plus, a nearby Cruise by the Bay is also a great activity if you want to try something different with your friends.

The billiards area is not so bad either! They are well-lit and have plenty of tables perfect for some friendly competition.

Games in Coronado Lanes Bowling and Billiard Center are very affordable, with their bowling rates starting at PhP100 and their shoe rental at PhP35. Their billiard games, on the other hand, start at PhP180 per table per hour.




8. Ice skating at SM Skating Rink

There are also cute ‘polar bear’ support frames that you can your kids can hold onto. If you’re not yet confident with your skills, you should not miss these fun mall activities.
