It is more than halfway through September, and days are marked by an ever-changing weather; however, the rain should not stop the public from enjoying the free movies at the 20th Cine Europa that’s going to happen at Shangri-La Plaza, Mandaluyong. In other news, traffic could be expected in Manila on September 21 during the anniversary of Ferdinand Marcos’s implementation of martial law, as protesters are set to gather in Luneta.

The poster for the protest bears a strong call to action.

Those coming to areas near Luneta Park could face traffic along Roxas Boulevard on September 21 as several activist groups such as Movement Against Tyranny and Temperamental Brats will conduct a protest against the killings under President Duterte’s war on drugs.

The protest falls on the 45th anniversary of the implementation of martial law by then-president Ferdinand Marcos. According to the group’s Facebook page, the rally will happen at 4:00 PM in the afternoon until 8:00 PM in the evening. Commuters are advised to expect traffic or avoid the area and find an alternate route to their destinations.

It runs from September 17 to 26

Some of these countries are Austria, Germany, Italy, Hungary, France, Denmark, Spain, United Kingdom, Sweden, Czech Republic, and Norway.

The film festival will continue beyond the Cineplex and travel to eight other cities and municipalities such as Baguio, Cebu, Iloilo, Tacloban, and Puerto Princesa.
