Tips for purchasing tickets and preparing for the event

  • Reserve tickets early, but make sure that the schedule of the show won’t be in conflict with your future plans as well.
  • Follow the social media accounts of the artists or the event organizer to monitor changes and announcements regarding the show such as venue changes or last minute-cancellations.
  • Observe and follow the rules and conditions of the venue, such as what not to bring, to avoid any inconveniences when entering.
  • If the concert venue is unfamiliar to you, determine how to get there via public transportation or how long it will take you when you book a car via Uber or Grab. Make sure to leave early to give yourself allowance should you need to walk around to find the venue.
  • If you own a car, follow directions from Waze and other similar apps. Again, make sure to leave early, in anticipation of traffic en route to the venue, or the hassle in finding a parking spot.
  • Go to the toilet before the show to avoid having to step out in the middle of it.
  • Some shows do not allow children below a certain age. It’s best to personally check with the establishment regarding such policies.
