A Guide to Restaurants in Metro Manila Where You Can Host Get-Together

It’s no secret that we Filipinos are all for celebrations. Seeing people we love, sharing good food, and telling countless stories are what make us crave for parties and get-togethers. Although it’s almost impossible to pull off a feast at home regularly, we are blessed with restaurants that can become our second home whenever we want to celebrate even the simplest of milestones. Read on and discover ten awesome restaurants in Manila for big groups—one of these might just be the perfect venue for your next celebration!
1. Manam
Address: Ground Floor, Net Park, 4th Avenue, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City
Have your own ‘glass house’ and enjoy sumptuous meals at Manam.
If you prefer traditional Filipino meals whenever you celebrate, Manam might appeal to your taste. They are known for an all-Filipino menu that is divided into two categories: Classics and Twists. The former features favorite Filipino dishes faithful to their original flavors while the latter presents unique spins on our local fares. For your celebration, you can try Manam’s best-sellers, House Crispy Sisig (starts at PhP140) and Sinigang na Beef Short Rib (PhP245).
The restaurant has four branches, all of which are great spots for a celebration. But if you prefer a private setting for your group, Manam’s BGC branch has its own glass house you can use for a minimum consumable amount. It’s separated from the dining area and can house a group of 10.
How to get to Manam’s BGC branch: From EDSA you can ride a bus or the MRT Line 3 and alight at Ayala Station. From Ayala Station ride the BGC buses that will pass through Net One bus stop. From Net One bus stop you can walk towards Net Park, where Manam is located.
2. The Stockpile
Address: The Sapphire Bloc, Sapphire Road, Ortigas, Pasig City
You can celebrate even the smallest of victories at The Stockpile.
Yuppies of Ortigas who are looking for a cool place to celebrate or to just enjoy a Friday night after a taxing week can head to The Stockpile. Located at The Sapphire Bloc, The Stockpile is a casual fine dining restaurant that serves a mix of Western cuisine and Filipino favorites.
The restaurant, which features a high ceiling and a spacious dining area, can be the perfect spot to catch up with friends. You can visit during one of their acoustic nights and share among yourselves their 6-Hour Slow Roast Porchetta (PhP520), one of their best-sellers.
How to get to The Stockpile: From EDSA, you can ride a bus or the MRT Line 3 and alight at Ortigas Station. From Ortigas Station, walk towards Robinsons Galleria and head straight to McDonald’s located at F. Ortigas Jr. Road. From McDonald’s head to Sapphire Road and continue walking until you reach The Sapphire Bloc.
3. Sugar Factory
Address: G/F Shangri-La at the Fort, 3rd Avenue corner 30th St., BGC, Taguig
Let Sugar Factory’s posh interiors be the background for your next get-together.
From its name, Sugar Factory may seem like a dessert shop, but this Las Vegas-founded restaurant is also home to savory dishes. Its menu consists of burgers, pastas, and steaks and various drinks that range from well-decorated milkshakes and unique cocktails. The offerings range in price from PhP205 to PhP2,950.
Sugar Factory’s interiors will make your get-together with friends feel fancy but still comfortable. Aside from the high ceiling and black leather seats that give the restaurant a posh vibe, there is a spacious dining area and a second floor if you prefer to have some more privacy.
How to get to Sugar Factory: From EDSA you can ride a bus or the MRT Line 3 and alight at Ayala Station. From Ayala Station, you can ride the BGC buses that will pass by the 3rd Avenue bus stop. From there, you can walk towards Shangri-La at the Fort, where the restaurant is located.
4. The Food Hall by Todd English
Address: 5/F SM Aura, 26th St. corner McKinley Parkway, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig
Level up your simple celebrations at The Food Hall by Todd English.
For a more upscale celebration, you can treat your family or friends at The Food Hall by Todd English. The restaurant, which is chef Todd English’s first venture outside the United States, became famous for nine various stations featuring dishes that take diners around the world. The Food Hall serves diverse items, from burgers, pastas, flatbreads, to sushi, within a price range of PhP240 to PhP3,800.
Todd English’s restaurants are known for their posh interiors reminiscent of the golden days of New York. For a private setting with your group, check out a separate level in the restaurant called The Balcony. It can accommodate 10 to 29 people and features a unique menu only available to your group.
How to get to The Food Hall by Todd English: From EDSA you can ride a bus or the MRT Line 3 and alight at Guadalupe Station. From Guadalupe Station, you can ride the jeepneys with the sign board “Market! Market!” and alight at Market! Market!. From there you can walk towards SM Aura, where the restaurant is located.
5. Buddha Bar
Address: Picar Place, Kalayaan Avenue, Poblacion, Makati City
Eat, drink, and party the night away with your friends at Buddha Bar.
Another restaurant that you can visit if you’re willing to splurge and have a well-deserved celebration is Buddha Bar. Buddha Bar is a world-renowned restaurant which opened its first branch in Paris, France in 1996 and has since spread all around the world from London to Dubai, and now the Philippines. The restaurant serves various Asian cuisines with a touch of Western flavors. The price of its offerings ranges from PhP340 to PhP3,000.
If a huge location is what you need for your party, Buddha Bar can accommodate you as it can house up to 500 guests. It consists of three floors: the first for lounging, the second for the restaurant, and the third for a roof deck.
How to get to Buddha Bar: From EDSA you can ride a bus or the MRT Line 3 and alight at Buendia Station. From Buendia Station the best mode of transportation is via Grab, Uber, or a taxi to Picar Place, where you can find also Buddha Bar.
6. Limbaga 77

Celebrate like you’re at your grandparents house at Limbaga 77.
Tomas Morato is known for the diverse restaurants in its strip. If you’re in the mood to share good Filipino comfort food with your group, drop by at Limbaga 77. They have classic dishes that Filipinos know and love like Pancit Bihon (PhP277) and Grilled Liempo (PhP277) which are good for sharing.
The house-turned-café has huge dining areas perfect for big groups, both inside and outside. The inside is air-conditioned, while the outside is best for those who want to drink and party at night. On their second floor are private rooms that you can occupy if your group wants some privacy.
How to get to Limbaga 77: From EDSA you can ride a bus or the MRT Line 3 and alight at Quezon Avenue Station. From Quezon Avenue, go to Panay Ave. near McDonald’s where there are tricycles you can ride to Limbaga 77.
7. Terraz

Another restaurant dedicated to large groups is Terraz, which is a fine dining restaurant that serves a Asian and Western dishes, as well as a fusion of both. Items in the menu range in price from PhP185 to PhP575. For late-night meetings, they also serve coffee from Illy’s and a good range of alcoholic beverage and cocktails.
Aside from the well-designed main dining room that highlights tangerine colors, you might also enjoy dining in their private rooms as well. Whether your group has only four members or you have 32 people in your celebration, Terraz has a room for you. The private rooms are also equipped with amenities fit for a meeting or presentation.
How to get to Terraz: From EDSA you can ride a bus or the MRT Line 3 and alight at Buendia Station. From Buendia Station the best mode of transportation is via Grab, Uber, or a taxi to reach Zuellig Building, where Terraz is located.
8. Romulo Café

Romulo Café, which is owned and run by the grandchildren of Filipino diplomat and statesman Carlos P. Romulo, is another restaurant you can consider for your next celebration. The café serves Filipino heirloom dishes that have been kept and passed on by the Romulo family. Dishes like Tito Greg’s Kare-Kare (PhP460) and Lola Virginia’s Chicken Relleno (PhP630) are some of their bestsellers.
The restaurant’s spacious black-and-white interior features comfortable seating which is suitable for a quiet and sophisticated get-together. If you’re planning a bigger event, their branch in Quezon City transforms into an events place which can handle up to 40 people.
How to get to Romulo Café: From EDSA you can ride a bus or the MRT Line 3 and alight at Quezon Avenue Station. From Quezon Avenue, go to Panay Ave near McDonald’s. Ride a tricycle and asked to be dropped off at Romulo Café.
9. Jin Joo Korean Grill

If you and your Korean drama-loving friends can’t still get over the last series that you watched, it’s only fitting to discuss it in a good Korean restaurant like Jin Joo Korean Grill. Jin Joo is a nice upgrade from usual smoky Korean restaurants with its spacious and inviting interiors that will keep you chatting and grilling for hours.
The food they offer is not your usual Korean fares. For one, they are famous for their samgyeopsal (grilled pork belly) that comes in eight flavors called Jin Joo’s 8 Flavours (PhP1,560). For cheese lovers, their Cheese Dung Galbi (PhP950) will satisfy your craving with the Korean’s version of baby back ribs that you can wrap in mozzarella cheese.

10. The Alley
Address: 2nd Level, Phase 2, U.P. Town Center, Ayala Mall, Katipunan Ave. Central Diliman, Quezon City
Give your celebrant a royal treatment at The Alley by Vikings.
If your group is celebrating someone’s milestone, one of the places you could go to for the ultimate treat is, of course, a buffet. In a buffet, there’s no need to select which cuisine your group’s celebrant likes; the varied offerings let you go to town and eat your hearts out. While we have many buffets to choose from, not all are nice, so it’s a good thing popular buffet restaurant Vikings offered a new buffet option in the form of The Alley.
The Alley features several stations: there’s a stall of favorite Filipino street foods, one for Spanish fares, and another for Chinese favorites like dim sums with a price range of PhP188 to PhP888. Their interiors are also spacious and brightly lit, perfect for a celebration.
How to get to The Alley: From EDSA you can ride a bus going to SM City Fairview. Alight at Tandang Sora and ride a jeep towards U.P. Diliman. From U.P. Diliman you can walk towards U.P. Town Center where you can find The Alley.
