For the third week of November, Yooreeka visited Landmark Market in TriNoma along North Avenue, Quezon City to check the availability and prices of commodities. What follows is an updated list of items such as rice, seasoning, meat, produce, and canned goods.


Rice

Rice in Landmark TriNoma is offered in one-, two-, or five-kilogram packs. One kilo of Sinandomeng is sold for PhP53, one kilo of Dinorado is for PhP63.50, while two kilos of brown rice is for PhP159.50. NFA rice is not offered in the market.


Sugar, salt, pepper

Brown sugar is sold at PhP52.50/kg while white sugar is for PhP65/kg. One 50g packet of whole black pepper is for PhP51.75 while one kilogram of iodized salt is for PhP18.70.


Meat, fish, and poultry

Pork in cubes, also known as adobo cut, is for PhP275/kg. Meanwhile, one kilo of beef in kaldereta cut is sold for PhP445 and one 250g serving of ham goes for PhP60.

Meanwhile, one kilo of galunggong is for PhP270 while one kilo of bangus and tilapia are sold for PhP230 and PhP160, respectively.

In terms of poultry, chicken goes for PhP159/kg. As for the eggs, one dozen of medium eggs is for PhP75 and one dozen of large eggs is for PhP77.


Vegetables

The following is a list of vegetable offerings Landmark TriNoma has as well as their corresponding prices: red onion, PhP137.50/kg; white onion, PhP87.50/kg; garlic, PhP62.50/200g; tomatoes, PhP150/kg; potatoes, PhP141.25/kg; carrots, PhP193.75/kg; pechay, PhP167.50/kg; kangkong, PhP12.50/bundle; and cabbages, PhP200/kg. Siling labuyo was not available at the time of visit.


Fruits

Apples and oranges are sold by the piece. One piece of apple goes for PhP44.50 while one piece of orange is for PhP32.75. Meanwhile, one kilo of lakatan bananas is sold for PhP78. Latundan bananas were not available in the market.


Canned goods

The lowest prices of canned goods at Landmark TriNoma are as follows: PhP17.90/100g of tuna, PhP26.75/150g of corned beef, PhP16.15/150g of sardines, and PhP17.95/150g of meat loaf.
