Our love of food is a defining trait of our culture. We see group-friendly restaurants on weekdays with colleagues dining out after office hours. On weekends we see the same restaurants in Manila catering to families on their weekly outings.

However, good food can only do so much if everyone cannot enjoy it. What good is a mouthwatering dish if not everyone is seated comfortably? If space is one of your constant concerns when eating out, then let your worries rest, as Metro Manila is swarming with restaurants for group dining. Read on to see where you can hold your next get-together!

First on our list of group-friendly restaurants for Italian cuisine lovers! Known for its pizza and pasta options, Buca Di Beppo is an ideal restaurant for group dining because of its extensive table options and generous servings. Beginning as an Italian restaurant chain in the US, Buca Di Beppo has grown to more than 100 stores worldwide and now has opened its doors to Metro Manila—its first-ever branch in Southeast Asia.

This restaurant in Manila has an ideal appetizer, the Buca Trio Platter; it has all the favorites: fried mozzarella, stuffed mushrooms, and fried calamari, all served with homemade marinara sauce. It also has various small or large pizza options, with the large option big enough to feed up to 15 people.

2. Wildflour Café + Bakery

What started as a simple café and bakery in 2012 has grown into an establishment offering brunch and dinner across the metro’s largest cities. Wildflour Café + Bakery branches are group-friendly restaurants due to their high ceilings and spacious seating arrangements.

Some of the must-tries on this restaurant in Manila’s menu include the sinfully creamy Crème Brulee, the seared Foie Gras, and the California Burger served with 1/3 pound of Australian Wagyu beef. It is important to note that menu offerings will depend on the time, and some dishes might not be available depending on the branch.

3. Florabel

Location: Level 1, North Wing, Estancia Mall, Capitol Commons, Oranbo, Pasig City

There is no doubt that some of the tastiest dishes are breakfast food. Unfortunately, not everyone is a morning person or has the time for a proper meal right at the start of the day. Another group-friendly restaurant on our list is the B&P solves all these predicaments as it is a restaurant that offers breakfast food all day through.

B&P serves hearty comfort food with a Pinoy twist. Its famous Mang Benedict’s, for instance, is a play on the classic Eggs Benedict: chicken longganisa (sweet sausage) and poached egg are served on top of a piece of malunggay (Moringa) pandesal and are finished with hollandaise sauce. But while this restaurant in Manila is best known for its breakfast options, they are one of the best restaurants for group dining because they serve food for lunch and dinner—all good for sharing.

October 2022 Update: B&P is permanently closed.

5. Café Enye

Location: Mezzanine Floor, Citi Plaza, 34th Street, Lane D, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig

Established in Eastwood, Café Enye serves delectable dishes that would make any reunion a success. This group-friendly restaurant operated its branch in BGC. Besides the great seating options, another thing to rave about this restaurant in Manila’s interior is the vibrant mural paintings placed all around the area that will lighten the mood of any meal.

Café Enye serves classic Spanish dishes with a twist. If you ever catch yourself dining in this restaurant in Manila, you must try the Cochinillo a la Casa, a great alternative to everyone’s favorite lechon (roasted pig) belly. This place is an excellent option for a restaurant for group dining; they serve a Curry Paella that is also a feast of flavors thanks to the generous proportions of cinnamon and curry-turmeric used in cooking.

October 2022 Update: Café Enya is permanently closed.

Good food is indeed best shared with the people closest to you. And thanks to these group-friendly restaurants, meals you won’t soon forget are more possible than ever.
