Industry News: Increase of sales in condo units in Bacolod for 2018
According to a report by Colliers International Philippines, a global property services firm, condominium units sold in Bacolod increased to 560 from 2017’s 290 units [3]. The firm predicted an annual take-up of 330 units per year from 2019 to 2021.
The firm also identified possible factors that can support the demand for condominium units. These factors are OFWs, infrastructure projects, rising of major townships, and growth of outsourcing and non-outsourcing businesses.
The price range of condominiums and houses and lots in the city is from PhP450,000 to PhP3.2 million. Considered to be affordable, these units are attractive investments for OFWs and businessmen. Mesa Virre Garden Residences by CebuLandmasters Inc. and Manors Majorca by Camella Homes are last year’s top-notch condominiums projects.
