As with Christmas, this season inspires many Halloween-themed desserts, from candy to cookies and cakes. If you’re going all-out in your party, forgo the usual fares and bring out these limited Halloween treats. These are only here for a limited time, so make sure to order fast!

How to go to Cupcakes by Sonja:
Serendra Branch: From EDSA, ride any southbound bus that has an “Ayala Ibabaw” sign. Ask the driver to drop you off at the unloading zone near the MRT Ayala Station. From there, cross EDSA via the overpass and look for find the jeepneys heading to Market! Market! Alight at Market! Market! and take the exit facing McKinley Parkway. Serendra is just a few walks away. Cupcakes by Sonja is located at the ground level.

Glorietta Branch: Ride the MRT to Ayala Station. Exit on the southbound side and enter SM Makati. Glorietta is connected to this mall through a footbridge, so walk straight ahead until you spot a sign indicating that you’re in Glorietta. Cupcakes by Sonja is located on the second floor.

SM Mega Fashion Hall Branch: Ride the MRT and get off at Ortigas Station. Exit the station and walk along the sidewalk until you reach SM Megamall. Cupcakes by Sonja is located at the ground floor of the Mega Fashion Hall.

The Vampire Cookies by The Bunny Baker are not for the faint of heart but are for the empty of stomach. With its gruesomely realistic details, you would think that these sweet treats are something straight from a horror movie. But once you sink your teeth into these soft and chewy desserts, you would want to take more bites. If you want to order, contact the bakery three weeks ahead to avoid a rush fee.

How to go to The Bunny Baker: Ride any bus that will pass by Ayala or ride the MRT-3 to Ayala Station. Head inside SM Makati and walk towards Glorietta. Rustan’s Makati, where The Bunny Baker, is located, is connected to this mall. The Bunny Baker is located on the third floor of Rustan’s Makati.

3. Maleficent Cake from Movie Stars Cafe

Where to buy: Movie Stars Cafe, G/F Centris Station, EDSA cor. Quezon Ave. Quezon City, Philippines
Operating hours: PhP240 for a single slice and PhP1,100 for a whole cake

How to go to Movie Stars Cafe: Ride the MRT to Quezon Avenue Station. Exit the station at the side of Eton Centris. You will find an entrance to Centris Station one level below the MRT’s exit. Enter and walk to the left. Descend to the ground floor through the escalator. You’d see Movie Stars Cafe on your right.

4. Krispy Skremes Donuts from Krispy Kreme

If your Halloween party is more chill than spooky, a box of Krispy Kreme’s “Krispy Skremes” Squad would be perfect. The Halloween-themed sweets feature six spooky treats: Choco Scare (skull donut dipped in white chocolate, sprinkles, and chocolate discs), Halloween Sprinkles (chocolate dipped glazed donut with sprinkles), Mr. Creeper (zombie donut with creamy vanilla filling), Jack the Pumpkin (orange-flavored chocolate), Six-Eyed Berry (blueberry icing with flavored violete kreme), and Frankie (melon-flavored donut with Kit Kat chocolate).

How to go to Krispy Kreme (Shangri-La Mall branch): Ride the MRT and get off at Shaw Boulevard Station. Take the exit to the left, facing Shangri-La Mall. How to go to Tim Hortons (SM North EDSA branch): Ride any MRT-3 then get off at the North Avenue Station. Enter Trinoma through the entrance you’d find immediately after exiting the MRT. Then, head to the connecting bridgeway between Trinoma and SM North EDSA and enter SM North EDSA. Tim Hortons is located at the ground floor of The Block at SM City North EDSA.
