For one, this outdoor restaurant in Manila requires diners to make table reservations. Once at the restaurant, guests must have their body temperature checked and fill out a health declaration form for contact tracing. Guests with fever and flu-like symptoms will not be allowed to enter. Wearing face masks will also be required at all times except when eating and drinking. Alcohol stations will also be installed within the establishment, and physical distancing will be observed in dining areas, queuing areas, and restrooms.

Ilustrado Restaurant reopened for dine-in services. The old-style outdoor restaurant is known for its Spanish garden courtyard, cafe, and neo-classic main dining room. Along with its reduced capacity, this outdoor restaurant in Manila will also be limiting its menu options for the cafe and best sellers. Their specials include paella Ilustrado, callos Madrilena (stew with ox tripe, chorizo, pimientos, bacon slab, and garbanzos), and adobong bagnet with crab fat (marinated deep fried pork belly).

Guests who feel unwell and have flu-like symptoms are encouraged to stay in their homes. At the outdoor restaurant, foot baths will be installed at the entrance. Customers will also be required to wear face masks, fill out a health declaration form, and have their temperature checked. Alcohol dispensers will also be provided for disinfection.
