Green spaces in Metro Manila are great for outdoor exercises, relaxing, and enjoying nature. Whether you’re having a quick picnic or just leisure walks, these parks in Metro Manila has to offer are great for unwinding and family bonding. 1. Ayala Triangle Gardens

Location: Paseo De Roxas St. cor. Makati Ave., cor. Ayala Ave.
Operating Hours: Daily, 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM

In the middle of Makati City is the little green haven of Ayala Triangle Gardens. The park’s greenery and towering trees are lavish and an excellent relaxing place for those who want to be surrounded by fresher air. You can also bring your pets along while sitting on the park’s benches or grass. Ayala Triangle Garden is also just as dazzling during nighttime when the surrounding city lights serve as a different backdrop.


2. Legazpi Active Park and Washington Sycip Park

Location: Legaspi St., Legaspi Village, Makati
Operating Hours: 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM

There’s a reason why Legazpi Active Park has the word “active” in it: many people flock to this spot for fun recreational activities such as badminton, jogging, and yoga. But if you want to chill and relax, you can go to Washington Sycip Park, which sits right beside Legazpi Active Park. Here, you can sit and watch the surroundings in relative peace. The park also has a playground that kids would love.



3. Greenfield District Central Park

Location: Mayflower St, Mandaluyong, 1550 Metro Manila
Operating Hours: Daily until 12 midnight

The spacious Greenfield District Central Park is also a short walk away from Pasig City and Mandaluyong City’s business and residential centers.

Greenfield District’s Central Park is a good destination for those with fur babies who want to unwind and get some fresh air and a safe open space for walking. The park is perfect for strolling and casual walking. When you get hungry, you can head to any of the various restaurants and cafes in the vicinity. The park also hosts a weekend market featuring different vendors selling food, art, clothes, novelty products, and home items*.

*May 2022 Update: Greenfield District’s Central Park only holds a food truck fest on weekdays from Monday to Thursday from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Friday from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and Saturday from 4:00 PM to 12 MN, and Sunday from 4:00 PM to 12:00 MN.


4. Kasalikasan Garden

Location: De Jesus Oval, accessible via 25th St. or 3rd Ave., Bonifacio Global City

Originally an art installation, Kasalikasan Garden is a unique park that artist Jerusalino V. Araos designed. Described as a “living sculpture,” it is intended to be an art installation that features a circular shape with elevated stages covered with pebble pathways and carabao grass. This park is perfect for those who would like to stay somewhere with a quieter ambiance.



5. BGC Greenway Park

Location: 3 McKinley Rd, Makati, 1220 Metro Manila

Launched in 2016, Greenway Park is also the longest linear park in Metro Manila.

You can bring your children to BGC’s Greenway Park for those who have kids. This park in Metro Manila is bike-free and only open for joggers, kiddie training, and walking. Kids and adults can either sit on the grass or the park benches or eat snacks. Just a reminder: kids and seniors can visit the park, but they are still not allowed in indoor malls*.

*May 2022 Update: Under COVID-19 Alert Level 1, kids and seniors can visit the park and be allowed in indoor malls.
