Parqal, the newest and first naturally ventilated mall in Aseana City Parañaque, is finally open.

Parqal, a mixed-used development establishment in the south, opened its doors to the public last September 30. This new mall in Metro Manila’s name is a wordplay from the words park and kalye, which the place also embodies as Parqal features natural ventilation with its open spaces and parkland.

Parqal mall showcases livable, walkable, and sustainable spaces with its five-hectare land with nine independent four-story buildings traversing the entire area between Macapagal Boulevard and Diokno Road.

It covers five hectares of walkable area, offering various leisure activities, office spaces, retail shops, dining, fashion, and wellness amenities.

Parqal’s design incorporates open spaces and parkland, including an amphitheater, courtyard, and greenway, to enhance recreational experiences for mall-goers.

This new mall in Metro Manila’s' façades includes 'excavated' segments with full-height glazing, allowing for natural light and visual permeability. These excavations also create civic spaces like plazas, arcades, and terraces, while the roofs are angled to mimic the pitched roofs of Bahay na Bato, adding to Parqal mall's distinctive design.

Mall-goers don’t have to worry about the changing weather as the whole stretch of Parqal is climate-protected through its floating canopy made of a sustainable, lightweight, and durable material designed for natural light.
