Heads up, commuters! There’s a new ride booking app in the metro, inDrive Philippines!
Navigating the city's commute has been quite challenging in recent months. Despite the array of ride-hailing choices like Grab, Angkas, Joyride, Move It, and more, securing a motorcycle or car ride during peak hours demands considerable time and patience.
Having received official accreditation from the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) as a Transport Network Company (TNC) in the country, the US-based firm, inDrive Philippines, is now authorized to operate in the metro.
Set the pick-up and drop-off point, offer your fare, and select your preferred driver in the area with the inDrive Philippines app.

Like other ride-booking apps in the Philippines, inDrive allows passengers to set their preferred pick-up and drop-off locations. The peer-to-peer pricing model or fare proposal system sets the inDrive Philippines apart from other apps, enabling passengers to negotiate the ride's cost directly with the driver.
This new riding app further empowers passengers to select their preferred driver and share ride details with family and friends. Notably, inDrive Philippines adopts surge-free pricing, ensuring stable fares even during rush hours, peak seasons, holidays, or any challenging times when booking a ride becomes a task. As of now, the app exclusively supports cash as the payment method.
You can now freely download the inDrive Philippines app from Google Play and the App Store.
January 24, 2024 Update:The LTFRB has suspended the ride-hailing platform, inDrive, due to a fare-haggling system.
