Lio Beach at El Nido has reopened, but only selected accommodations have resumed operations. Currently, they are accepting bookings only for Huni, Casa Kalaw, Balai Adlao, Seda Lio, and Pandan Villas. Other facilities such as Hotel Covo, Casa Kalaw, and Balai Adlao (except Mercury Drugs and ATMs) will remain closed until further notice.
In a Facebook advisory, the place issued its “Be Green and Be Clean” program for the new normal. Under the guidelines, guests must wear face masks and sign travel and health declaration forms upon checking in. The hotel also will be disinfecting its land and air shuttles. At the resort, hand sanitizers and foot baths will be placed at all entry points. Protective barriers will also be placed in the reception area, and there will be social distancing markers for queues and other activities.
In-room dining is encouraged with meals in pre-set boxes. For their guests’ and employees’ safety, housekeeping and food and beverage staff wear personal protective equipment (PPEs). Guests can also request sanitation kits. This
resort in Palawan’s other safety measures include implementing a foot control system for public toilets and waste bins. Facilities such as
Shops@Lio, gym, Clock In co-working space, and common were also temporarily closed.
