Travel Updates

Subic Freeport temporarily bans leisure travels from Bataan.

The leisure travel from Bataan to Subic Freeport is temporarily suspended according to the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA). The decision was made after Bataan was placed under modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) and following resolution no.121 set by the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) for the Management of Infectious Diseases, which states that only essential travels are allowed on areas under MECQ [2].

Several Clark hotels are recognized for excellence.

An American travel company, TripAdvisor, regarded Clark Freeport’s several hotels for their excellent accommodation services. As a result, six hotels in Clark Freeport are recognized as the “2021 Tripadvisor’s Travelers’ Choice Awards”, including Clark Marriott Hotel, Midori Hotel and Casino, The Mansion-Boutique Hotel, Quest Hotel and Conference Center Clark, Park Inn by Radisson Clark, and Widus Hotel and Casino [3]. After the awards were issued, the CDC announced their appreciation for the recognition received by establishments.
