A concept by Antonio's Group of Restaurants, Balay Dako in Tagaytay is an impressive classic Filipino-inspired mansion along Aguinaldo Highway that invites groups and families to "come home" and try their Filipino specialties. This three-story bulalo place in Tagaytay commands a great view of Taal Volcano and Lake and welcomes a lot of breeze through its huge windows.
Balay Dako isn’t just known for its classic Bulalo na Baka or beef shank soup (PhP1,495). It also has other versions of the delicacy, which are definitely worth the try. Some of these include Sizzling Bulalo na Baka, a dish of the braised beef shank in mushroom sauce served on a sizzling cast-iron platter (PhP1,450), and Kansi, a blend of sinigang or sour pork soup and beef shank soup (PhP555). If you plan to try the various Filipino specialties of Balay Dako, it is best to go early to avoid long queues, as the restaurant has a first-come, first-served policy.

Pamana is a long-established and well-loved Filipino heirloom restaurant that has branches around the Philippines, with the first one in Tagaytay. Despite being located along a busy highway, the restaurant itself remains a charming and quaint place to dine. It is adorned with family photos and vintage memorabilia. There is also a veranda where you can get refreshing views of nature and the grand sight of the Taal Volcano and Lake. The place feels very homey, making visitors feel nostalgic for their ancestral homes.
Pamana is one of the bulalo restaurants in Tagaytay that has given bulalo a creative reinterpretation. Leslie's has been around for two decades, a restaurant with a humble beginning, serving delectable good-for-sharing Filipino meals that many Filipino families have come to love. With its spacious rustic interior, communal tables, and well-landscaped surroundings, it's no wonder that Leslie's in Tagaytay is an all-time favorite dining place for bulalo in Tagaytay among friends and families.
Leslie's is most famous for its classic bulalo with refillable soup. You can choose between their Sizzling Bulalo with Gravy (PhP864) or the Special Bulalo (PhP922), with more vegetables. They also allow you to get a refill of their flavorful bulalo soup.

Many people go to Josephine Restaurant for its breakfast buffet (PhP505) and lunch buffet (PhP595)* on weekends and holidays, which let you feast on their wide selection of Filipino breakfast and lunch viands. The restaurant also has a la carte dishes, including their highly sought-after Bulalo (PhP1,180), with a generous amount of meat and a flavorful soup.

Don't let the name of this restaurant fool you. Although Mer-Ben Tapsilogan is a place where you can eat cured beef with fried rice and egg, its take on the bulalo is also to die for. One of its specialty dishes includes the Extra Special Bulalo (PhP550 for medium, PhP750 for large). People believe it is called “extra special” because of the way it goes beyond just satisfying people's cravings for tender beef and flavorful soup.
Mer-Ben is very spacious. It has a simple semi-open-air setup, which offers a refreshing and casual setting as you dine. You can even glimpse Taal Lake as you eat a heartwarming bowl of bulalo. There are also nipa huts available for rent.
The restaurant is located along Tagaytay-Nasugbu Highway, less than five minutes away from Mahogany Market.

Located two to three minutes from Sky Ranch, Bulalo Point is a budget-friendly bulalo restaurant famous among locals and visitors on a budget. The place is not as flashy as other restaurants, but the nature-inspired ambiance makes you feel like a true local. They also have nipa huts where you can get better views of the city and feel the cool breeze.
Up to three people can share the goodness of their Special Bulalo served in a clay pot, priced at PhP485. They also have versions like the Sinampalukang Bulalo (beef shank soup with tamarind) for PhP530 and Sizzling Bulalo (PhP530).
Green ATS in Tagaytay is not only a nice place to eat bulalo but also a great spot to appreciate nature.

The interior is neat, airy and furnished with polished tables and chairs to seat large groups and families. This restaurant commands a good view of Taal Volcano and Lake and lush greenery along the ridge.
On their menu, you can find a variety of bulalo dishes, from the classic version to Tinolang Bulalo (ginger-flavored beef shank soup, PhP635 suitable for four pax) and Sizzling Bulalo with Gravy (PhP645 ideal for four pax), which are all great for sharing. They also have nipa huts to give you a better view of the Taal Volcano and Lake, where you can choose to stay for a minimum order of PhP1,800.

Rolando's is one of the newest restaurants in Tagaytay that’s quickly gathering attention. Located across Magallanes Square on Aguinaldo Highway, this restaurant combines elegance with homeliness through its stylish black and white interiors and hearty Filipino dishes. It has a balcony where diners can enjoy the cool breeze while warming up their heart with a generous serving of bulalo.
One of the specialty dishes of Rolando's is their classic bulalo espesyal (special beef shank soup), with servings good for solo diners and groups of up to five people. They also offer an exciting dish version, bulalo a la Balbacua (PhP580), a Mindanaoan recipe with a thick and spicy broth.
