The City of Baguio is known to be one of the busiest and most well-known tourist spots in the country. From its cool climate to its mouth-watering delicacies, the province sure has a lot to offer. In fact, the city was dubbed as the country’s Summer Capital because it is one of the most-visited places during summer. However, due to the pandemic, Baguio had to close its borders. But now that it sees further easing of restrictions under the modified general community quarantine, the city is adjusting to new guidelines.

Residents stranded outside of Baguio may now return to the city provided that they will undergo a 14-day quarantine before coming home to their loved ones. Meanwhile, accommodation establishments, including the hotels in Baguio, are also allowed to open. While some hotels in Baguio are starting to accept guests, most of them may only entertain returning residents as per the MGCQ guidelines.
