Bacolodnons will experience better walkways at the eastern side of Bacolod City as soon as the Esplanade project will be completed. According to Engr. Magada, DPWH’s Chief of Construction Section, the half-kilometer project is now 95% completed. The project covers areas from Lupit Bridge along the Circumferential Road going to the Bacolod Government Center (BGC). This P37-million project of DPWH is similar to the one implemented in Iloilo .
With this development, people will get to go on leisurely walks at the Esplanade. The place will also have benches, railings, lighting facilities, and blocks to allow the people to enjoy their free time with their families and friends.
