A Quick Guide to Bacolod Malls with Closures and Adjustments

These Bacolod malls have made adjustments in light of the community quarantine.

These shopping malls have closed but its establishments selling basic needs continues to serve the public amid the Covid-19 threat in Bacolod City.


Major malls in Bacolod City have announced shorter operating hours in compliance with the general community lockdown as a precaution against the spread of the novel coronavirus or COVID-19. Executive Order No. 22 series of 2020 states that all malls, recreational centers, community centers, and commercial areas have to limit their daily operational hours until 8:00 PM. In light of these measures against the coronavirus, these major malls in Bacolod have announced adjusted operating hours. Indicated below are the malls’ hours and establishments within them offering basic necessities for the people of Bacolod.


1. SM City Bacolod

SM City Bacolod prioritizes the public’s safety and needs.

SM City Bacolod’s supermarket, Watsons, BDO, GNC, Una Konsulta Primary Clinic, and Bills Payment stores will still remain open to the public who are seeking to buy and pay needs. The mall will open its doors from Monday to Sunday from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The operating hours of establishments within it may vary.


2. Ayala Malls Capitol Central

Ayala Malls Capitol Central is located at the back of Provincial Capitol Lagoon along Gatuslao Street.

Ayala Malls Capitol Central will continue to open establishments offering basic needs to the public on Mondays to Sundays from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. These establishments include groceries, drugstores, and banks, and their individual operating hours may vary.



3. Robinsons Place Bacolod

Robisons Place Bacolod is only a ride away from North Ceres Terminal and Burgos Public Market.

Although the mall itself is closed, residents on the north of the city can still access basic needs at Robinsons Place Bacolod, Mondays to Sundays from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Besides the supermarket and pharmacies, the mall’s hardware stores, convenience stores, and selected restaurant with take-out and delivery services will still be open.

4. CityMall Mandalagan

CityMall Mandalagan is near subdivisions like Camella Bacolod, Sta. Clara, and Estanzia.

As with the other malls, CityMall Mandalagan’s establishments that sell essentials needs will also be open. Groceries, food, clinics, bayad (payment) centers, and money remittance shops will operate Mondays to Sundays from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.


5. Lopue’s East Centre

Customers of Lopue’s Araneta and East Centre can only buy two peices of alcohol and disinfectant products per person.

The grocery operations in Loupe’s East Centre are still running; however, the school and office supplies at Lopue's East and the department store shall be temporarily closed until further notice. Meanwhile, Lopue’s Araneta is closed from March 30 to April 14.


6. 888 Chinatown Premier Mall

These are the key establishments that will continue to open.

888 Chinatown Premier Mall also temporarily closed its doors except for the following tenants: Puregold and Lopue’s Value supermarkets, pharmacies, bank and money remittance centers, and selected restaurants. Both grocery stores will be open from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, while Mercury Drug Store will be open from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. If you need home and kitchen supplies, Asian Home will also be open from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. All these open stores will serve the community from Mondays to Sundays.



The people of Bacolod are strictly advised to stay home at all times, and a curfew of 10:00 PM to 4:00 AM has been implemented until further notice. If you wish to go out of the house to buy basic needs, you must wear a mask and keep alcohol or a sanitizer with you. Stay safe!
