Located just a few hours from Bacolod City, this small city is slowly recognized because of its tourism offers. It might be small, but it claims numerous marine reserves, pristine shores, and mangrove gardens.

1. Paddle along the beach at Bugana Beach and Dive Resort.

Whether you’re a beginner or are already a skilled kayaker, gliding through the calm waters with the resort’s glass bottom fiberglass kayaks will take your experience to a new level. You can paddle and see underwater creatures and coral reefs below you and peacefully row your way to another island.
Kayak at the resort would cost you PhP400 for the first hour and PhP350 for the following hours. Packages are also available.

Sipalay is just a short boat ride from 42 dive sites, including the shipwreck of SS Panay that sank during World War II. Since the countryside is a haven for divers, Easy Diving and Beach Resort offers scuba diving lessons for beginners and experienced swimmers. After completing the tasks, you can dive with a team of PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) divers and marvel at the wonders of marine life.
One dive with equipment would cost you PhP1,600. Dive packages are also available.
