In the middle of a 200-hectare marine reserve lies Carbin Reef, a huge tongue-shaped white sand bar off the coasts of Sagay, the northern part of the Negros Island. A 20-minute boat ride from Sagay Port will get you to this destination known for its clear and pristine water, ideal for swimming and snorkeling.
If you don’t have snorkeling gear, you can rent them from the Buhay Dagat snorkeling guides of Sagay Association for PhP250 only. Guests are encouraged to bring their own food and drinking water because there are no restaurants on the sand bar. Don’t forget your sunblock as well, as there are no trees to hide you from the sun!
