Domestic travelers who are fully vaccinated can travel with fewer restrictions. Here’s what to know if you’re traveling to Negros Occidental.

Do fully vaccinated individuals can travel to Negros Occidental? After the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) released a new travel protocol, the answer is yes. Here are more information on what you should know about the latest guidelines for travelers to Negros Occidental.

If you are fully vaccinated—completed your second dose of any brand, you will only have to present your vaccination card instead of showing a negative swab test result. This mandate was approved by Negros Occidental Governor Jose Eugenio Lacson when he signed Executive Order No. 21-34 Series of 2021, adopting the IATF-EID’s travel protocols for fully vaccinated individuals.

The governor also emphasized that the no reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) result rule will only apply two weeks after the fully vaccinated individuals’ second vaccine. Furthermore, the provincial government is developing QR codes for outbound and inbound fully vaccinated Negrenses.

Meanwhile, travelers who have not completed their vaccines should present a negative RT-PCR test and quarantine on arrival.
