Air Asia Philippines reminds Philippine-bound passengers to comply with the Philippine One-Stop Electronic Travel Declaration System or the e-Travel Card at least three days before their departure date for hassle-free entry to Manila.

The e-Travel card was recently in replacement with the One Health Pass, which is only available online via etravel.gov.ph. The e-Arrival card is the only travel requirement for fully vaccinated domestic and international Philippine-bound passengers.

Air Asia Philippines Head of Communications and Public Affairs Chief Steve Dailisan says that the airline highly encourages the passenger’s compliance with this travel requirement as it supports and promotes seamless and hassle-free travel for their clients with AirAsia. Passengers are encouraged to comply with the said requirement as mandatory to the Philippine government’s policies for safe and secure journeys.

Dailisan also shared that during the past months, about 20% of the passengers are still unable to comply with the e-Travel card requirement before their scheduled flight which causes long lines upon checking at the arrival area.

The airline advises international passengers to arrive early for a convenient travel experience and a smooth check-in with immigration screening and security clearance.

Meanwhile, the Department of Tourism eyes 4.8 million more tourists visiting the Philippines this 2023. This forecast is expected this summer, especially for top destinations in the Philippines like Boracay, Bohol, Cebu, and Palawan.

AirAsia, also known as the World’s Best Low-Cost Airline, recommends passengers download the Super App for more updates on flight schedules and travel advisories.
