A new township is seen to rise thanks to property giant Megaworld Corporation. On related news, SM Prime remains confident with earnings despite high inflation, and conglomerates Ayala Corporation and SM Group take part in a sustainability summit.

Project Announcement: Megaworld allots PhP35B for Pasig township

One of the country’s top property developers, Megaworld Corporation, has set aside a sum of PhP35 billion to fund its latest township, the 12.3-hectare Arcovia City located right along C-5 in Pasig City.

Arcovia is set to include at least one residential tower, an office tower, and a lifestyle mall.

The township’s first residential tower, the 18 Avenue de Triomphe will have 576 units in its 37 levels. Available units will include studio units up to 32.5 square meters, one-bedroom units up to 63 square meters, two-bedroom units up to 110.5 square meters, and three-bedroom units up to 154 square meters.

Meanwhile, the 17-story One Paseo is also being constructed as Arcovia’s first office tower. It will have a leasable office space of 23,000 square meters, and will also include a lifestyle mall complete with leisure facilities.

According to Megaworld senior vice president Kevin Tan, the corporation hopes to create a township that motivates young professionals to persevere and work harder to attain their own successes and victories in life. “There is a deeper story embedded into this development, and we will tell that story through the installations and attractions around the township,” said Tan.

To make the township even more livable, Megaworld is growing 1,000 Narra trees to serve as natural shade. The allotted amount will be used to expand Arcovia until 2025[1].
