Have lots of free time this month? Perfect! June is filled with expos and conventions. What’s more, the events in Metro Manila this June 2019 caters to people from different industries and interests. Those who are into graphic design and everything related to creative imaging can find the 25th Graphic Expo helpful. Foodies and food entrepreneurs can learn the latest tips and tricks of the industry at the Manila Foods and Beverages Expo.
For pop culture enthusiasts, you can flaunt your costumes and interact with your fellow Japanophiles at the Anime & Cosplay Expo or head to ToyCon PH to score collectibles and merch. Engaged couples can also plan their weddings at two wedding events: Eternity Weddings and The Philippine Wedding Summit. 1. The 24th Graphic Expo 2019
When: June 6 to 8, 2019; 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Where: Halls 1, 2, and 3, SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City

Get your creative juices flowing and get inspiration from the 24th Graphic Expo 2019. The expo features not just a chance to expand your network, but also opportunities to learn ideas from experts and professionals from the design industry. Get the latest scoop on the latest trends, materials, tools, and equipment you can apply to your works.
There will be several exhibitors from different fields of design: graphic arts, digital photography, video and imaging, web publishing, multimedia, animation, t-shirt printing, and signage. Storage devices such as flash drives, card readers, and such will also be available at the venue. There are also seminars about topics like video editing, branding, social media campaigns, and the like.
Tips for a good experience:
• Registration is needed. Make sure to fill out the registration form at the event’s registration booth and present an ID. Pre-register at https://www.fmi.com.ph/event-registration/the-24th-graphic-expo-2019/
• Note that the event prohibits attendees from wearing slippers, sando, and shorts.
How to get there: Ride an MRT-3 up to the Taft Avenue Station. Exit the station then head to the jeepney terminal outside. Ride a jeepney or shuttle to SM Mall of Asia. The fare is PhP9. Look for the eye-shaped building once you arrive at SM Mall of Asia Complex; it’s the SMX Convention Center.
2. Anime & Cosplay Expo 2019
When: June 8 to 9, 2019
Where: Function Room 1, SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City
Entrance Fee:

Japan has been a source of fascination for Filipinos through the years. From the food to the culture, there’s no denying that the hype for anything Japanese is strong enough to last. For the younger generation, anime and manga remain to be the most attractive aspect of Japanese culture. The attraction and interest is so widespread that there are now numerous events, like the Anime and Cosplay Expo, where fans can come together.
The Anime and Cosplay Expo gathers anime fans and gives them a chance to flaunt their costumes of their favorite characters. Attendees can participate in activities and contests such as the Solo Cosplay Catwalk, Cosplay Karaoke Encore, Cosplays Got Talent, Ultimate Cosplay Championship Auditions, Trivia Throne Throwdone, and Lip Sync Kombat. If you’re not participating in these activities, you can look around at the memorabilia and merchandise at the booths.
Tip for a good experience:
• If you want to attend the event in a costume, check out rental shops. Facebook shops like Mame's Cosplay Shop, Costumes Central PH, and Khai's Costume Rentals offer various options. Reserve your slot since some cosplayers might rent costumes at the same week or day.

3. Manila Food & Beverage Expo 2019
When: June 12 to 16, 2019; 10:00AM to 8:00PM
Where: World Trade Center, Pasay City
Entrance Fee: PhP100

If you plan on establishing a restaurant or want to know the latest tricks of the culinary trade, head down to Manila Foods and Beverages Expo (MAFBEX). MAFBEX is a gathering of food enthusiasts, professionals, chefs, and food business owners. There are several things you can do at the event. For one, you can watch live cooking demos and cooking and hospitality competitions.
You can also check out products at the different booths from exhibitor companies from Philippines, United States, Taiwan, Malaysia, Japan, and South Korea. You won’t go hungry since you can try out the offerings from the exhibitors at the venue. Tickets are available on-site.
Tips for a good experience:
• If you're interested on specific vendors, check their social media account to see where they are located. Since the venue is expected to be crowded, knowing the location of the vendor beforehand will save you time.
How to get there: Ride the LRT-1 to either Gil Puyat or Buendia Station. From there, ride a jeep bound to SM Mall of Asia or Roxas Boulevard. Ask the driver to drop you off at World Trade Center.
4. Eternity Weddings & Celebrations Fair
When: June 15 to 16, 2019
Where: Events at Enderun 1100 Campus Avenue, Mckinley Hill, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig

It’s a terrible idea to cram the preparations for a special event like a wedding. Avoid this mistake by planning months beforehand. Do you have problems in organizing your plans or finding vendors? You can explore all your options for your party at the Eternity: Weddings and Celebrations Fair 2019.
For this event, Enderun Colleges handpicked 80 suppliers that will be offering deals and packages for stylists, photographers, event planners, and makeup artists. You can pre-register at Enderun’s website.
Tips for a good experience:
• Bring a journal or planner if you need to jot down important info and details.
• Bring cash for necessities such as snacks and refreshments.
• Vendors at wedding fairs will ask for your contact details. To avoid rewriting your info over and over, create a business card with your name and contact details.
How to get there: Ride the MRT up to Guadalupe Station then ride a jeepney in Guadalupe bound for Fort Bonifacio or AFP Housing. The route will pass by McKinley Hill. Enderun College is near the Venice Grand Canal Mall and Accenture. The building’s main facade is in a shade of pinkish orange, and you will see the name of the school easily.
5. The Philippine Wedding Summit
When: June 22 and 23, 2019; 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Where: SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City
Entrance Fee: Free admission if pre-registered online
This is the 14th year of The Philippine Wedding Summit 2019.

For 16 years, Toy Con Philippines has been the hub for pop culture fanatics, toy collectors, cosplayers, gamers, and artists. The event attracts 30,000 visitors annually from all over the country and even foreigners from Southeast Asian countries. The event features collectible toys from popular movie franchises, series, anime (Japanese cartoons), and video games.
Event highlights include the following: a toys and comics merchandise floor, the Philippine Toy Group Association’s toy gallery, comics and art gallery from local and international artists, celebrity meet and greets, live music, and cosplay competitions. You can also show support for local toymakers and artists who showcase Filipino creativity through the event.
Tips for a good experience:
• If you want cheaper tickets, buy early. The event has an early-bird promo.
• Toy conventions can get overwhelming with all the items displayed in front of you. Make a short list of what you want to get from the event to avoid impulsive buying.
• Schedule your visit. Dedicate a specific time and date for the shopping and special programs.
• Go light when it comes to clothing. Conventions can get crowded, so wear clothes made of light fabric to keep from feeling too hot.
