Smartphones have started to invade the realm of photography with the release of units featuring notable cameras.
The advent of smartphone cameras has changed the photography landscape to a certain degree. Advancements in technology made the smartphone camera a revolutionary device that encouraged people to leave their compact and digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) cameras at home. Instead, they relied more on their smartphones for their photography needs. And since amazing phone models came out this year, it’s difficult to determine exactly what the best camera phone for 2019 is.
For a little help, we asked our readers what the best camera phone for 2019 is and the results are quite interesting.

Sony Xperia XZ1

This feature allows users to create unique and dramatic footage at 960 frames per second (fps). If you are inclined at making action videos with your smartphone, you may want to consider this particular device. As to the front camera, it has a resolution of 13MP, which makes it good for taking selfies. Being water and dust-resistant makes it more appealing for people who want to shoot videos outdoors, probably not under the pouring rain.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 7
The 48MP resolution of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 makes it among the top smartphones when it comes to camera resolution in the market.

It may not have the best camera in terms of resolution since its dual-camera system has a 16MP and 2MP camera. On the other hand, its front camera has a resolution of 24MP and is essentially a lite version of the Nova 3. But this Huawei smartphone provides a good value for your money. It also features a 128GB storage capacity that can be expanded up to 256GB through a micro SD memory card.
When it comes to smartphone cameras, the poll result shows that Filipinos are quite proficient in looking for the best one without breaking the bank.
