Traveling to other countries and provinces might not be easy right now, but it doesn’t mean you can’t give yourself the vacation you deserve. Luckily, you don’t have to leave the city at all, as staycations in Metro Manila are now allowed by the Department of Tourism (DOT). To ensure the peace of mind of guests during their stay, the DOT approved only the best hotels in Metro Manila that passed its strict inspections. So if you’re looking for a vacation in the city, below are seven of the best hotels in Metro Manila that are guaranteed safe.

1. Grand Hyatt Manila

The Grand Hyatt Hotel prioritizes their guests’ safety by implementing rigorous sanitary and safety protocols. All Hyatt Hotels received the Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) cleanliness and training accreditation, which means that the hotel staff is properly trained to conduct standard health protocols.

To maintain the safety of all guests, the hotel conducts hourly sanitization of frequently touched surfaces and common areas. All guests are also required to have their temperature checked every time they enter the hotel. When it comes to food preparation and service, kitchen areas are frequently disinfected, and the restaurant temporarily switched from the buffet to à-la-carte menus. Posters with safety reminders are also placed throughout the hotel to guide guests.
