One of the most popular products of Baguio City is the iconic Good Shepherd ube jam. The tasty purple yam jam made by the Good Shepherd Sisters Convent always leaves tourists wanting for more, making the place a must-visit when in Baguio. Although it's a popular Baguio pasalubong, you’d be surprised to know that a convent in Tagaytay belonging to the same congregation also makes the same product.

What makes this more exciting is you don’t have to go to either of those two places to get a taste of Good Shepherd’s ube jam! Social enterprise SPEW Organics partnered up with Good Shepherd Sisters - Tagaytay and Bahay Pastulan to help bring their beloved ube jam and other products to Metro Manila. You read that right: with just a few clicks, you can finally get Good Shepherd’s ube jam along with their other delicacies delivered to your doorstep!

SPEW Organics founder Elias Jayson Tolentino chose this particular charity after seeing how the Taal Volcano eruption and ongoing COVID-19 pandemic negatively impacted the business of Good Shepherd Sisters - Tagaytay. Through the help of SPEW, the unsold products of the convent can now make its way to the homes of those living in the metro.

SPEW Organics accepts pre-orders on a weekly basis. You must send a screenshot of your proof of payment to them, and then all you have to do is wait to get your items.
