In the northernmost tip of the island, this international resort chain is situated hillside in a verdant environment. True to its brand of exclusivity, Shangri-La’s Boracay Resort and Spa is the only resort in the island with a private jetty port in Caticlan. From the port, guests are taken to the private coast of the resort onboard a speedboat, cruising along White Beach.

The resort has 219 rooms consisting of 183 standard rooms and suites and 36 villas. To complement its luxurious accommodation, the resort also has two restaurants, Rima and Solana. In addition to this, it also has a ballroom for big events and four meeting rooms. Another upscale resort in the northern portion of Boracay is Mövenpick Resort & Spa Boracay. The resort has 312 rooms and suites, including a beach villa. It has seven diverse restaurants and bars serving international, Korean, Japanese, Italian, and pub food.

The resort also has its exclusive Sol Marina Beach Club, a party place with international DJs and performers and a 3,300-square meter multi-level pool suited for parties. Alta Vista de Boracay is situated in a secluded uphill location in Barangay Yapak and has its own exclusive access to Puka Beach. The resort has 500 rooms divided in 17 mid-rise condominium type buildings. For those who want to explore the main areas of the island, Alta Vista also has a transfer service to and from D’Mall. Aside from its suite-style rooms, the resort has recently opened L’Altura, a restaurant which is the latest venture of the famous catering company, Tamayo’s Group.

Apart from its unique design, Ambassador in Paradise is easy to spot when walking on the beach because of the giant fictional character King Kong on display.
