With Boracay’s popularity among domestic and international travelers, finding a place to stay on the island is like a walk in the park. Most hotels and resorts in Boracay are confined to the hive of activity, which is near White Beach. However, if you plan to stay away from the crowd, there are still places on the island that would remind you of the privacy of home while on vacation. Below are five short-term rental vacation houses in Boracay which offer the privacy and amenities you’re looking for.


1. One Hagdan Villas Boracay

Where: Sitio Hagdan, Barangay Yapak, Boracay
Price: PhP20,000 to PhP30,000 per night

One Hagdan Villas Boracay has an exclusive location in the northern portion of the island. Situated on a hillside between the beaches of Diniwid and Balinghai, guests of the property can have a good view overlooking the island.

Guests at One Hagdan have five villas to choose from namely Baitang, Balustre, Pihala, Hakbang, and Yapak. Each villa is equipped with modern amenities, spacious rooms, and a common area fit for a family. All villas also have their own private pool. All guests of the property get VIP treatment as the accommodation includes transfers to and from Caticlan. Guests can also take a tour within the island with their electric tricycle.



2. Villa Oceana Boracay

Where: Across the Sespeñe Trading, Main Road Station 3, Boracay
Price: PhP6,701 to PhP10,228 per night

With its cliff-top location, Villa Oceana Boracay offers a panoramic view of the blue waters of Boracay and its amazing sunset. It is located on a hilltop in Station 3, saving its guests from the noise of the White Beach crowd. Since it’s on a hilltop, guests have to take 70 steps to reach the exclusive location of the property.

The property has five exclusive villas featuring classic Filipino-inspired décor. All villas are equipped with modern amenities and each comes with a private balcony or a terrace. The villas are also surrounded by a verdant environment and a well-cultivated garden. Villa Oceana also has an infinity pool where one can watch the sunset.


3. Villa Aloy

Where: Sitio Diniwid, Barangay Balabag, Boracay
Price: PhP9,079 per night

Villa Aloy is a three-story property within the lush hilltop compound of Tropicana Ocean Villas in Sitio Diniwid, Barangay Yapak. With its hilltop location, guests have to climb 215 steps to reach the villa.



The top floor of the villa houses the master’s bedroom while the second floor has a balcony and a veranda for dining, cooking, and relaxing. The ground floor houses extra rooms for additional members of the family. Every floor is enclosed with vast glass panels for an open view of the sea and the beautifully landscaped tropical garden.

The villa is equipped with modern home amenities, including Wi-Fi connection. Shopping, cooking, laundry, and babysitting services are also available upon request.


4. Boracay Amor Apartments

Where: Sitio Diniwid, Barangay Balabag, Boracay
Price: PhP4,818 per night

Boracay Amor Apartments is located at the top of Diniwid Hills in the northwestern part of the island with lush surroundings. With its uphill location, apartment dwellers can enjoy a panoramic view of White Beach. Diniwid Beach is also accessible through a cliff-side trail from each apartment unit.



Boracay Amor has 18 fully furnished units divided into three buildings. Guests can choose from among their different suite units. They have suites designed for couples celebrating Valentine’s Day in Boracay or who are enjoying a romantic holiday. They also have suites for families or groups. Each of their apartment units is equipped with full kitchen facilities, dining, living room, balcony, and Wi-Fi connection. Boracay Amor also offers maid services and in-house massage services upon request.


5. Shambala Terraces

Where: Sitio Balingai, Barangay Yapak, Boracay
Price: PhP3,138 to PhP6,798 per night

Shambala Terraces are boutique residences situated on the hillside of Sitio Balinghai in Barangay Yapak. Its location allows guests to have access to the secluded beach of Balinghai. It is also just a short ride away from the beaches of Puka, Diniwid, and Ilig-Iligan.

Each unit at Shambala Terraces features contemporary architecture with large glass doors and windows. Guests can choose from one-bedroom or two-bedroom units. Each apartment is also equipped with modern home amenities and comes with large terraces with a view of the ocean. Shambala also has a common swimming pool for their guests, as well as a parking area.
