PhP238M sought for Silay-Bacolod Airport
A total amount PhP238,495,000 is sought for the Bacolod-Silay Airport passenger terminal expansion and runway extension [3]. The expansion of passenger terminal and runway extension denotes better services in the airport. Complaints from passengers due to lack of airport facilities were reported in the past months. The projects are also necessary for the efficient operation of the airport, and compliance with the International Civil Aviation Organization standards.
Construction of new hotel underway

The entrance will be reopened after the completion of the hotel, located within the 16-hectare SM City Bacolod Complex across Rizal Street. Mall-goers who are usually passing through Northwing Entrance 3B are advised to enter the mall in other gates.
