Baguio City is indeed an all-year
travel option and tourist spot, especially during summer; no wonder Baguio City is called the 'summer capital of the Philippines.' And since the heat drives people away from the metro, Baguio City tourism is now busier than ever. But before you travel to Baguio City, there are a few adjustments to the
travel requirements that every tourist should know.
Because
Baguio City is currently on a low alert level, the updated Baguio City travel guidelines of March 2022 still require tourists to register via
https://visita.baguio.gov.ph/ as one of the travel requirements. The updated tourism and travel guidelines now allow
tourist groups to book via the website.
Other Baguio City travel requirements also include any valid government-issued ID. A vaccination certificate is also part of Baguio City’s travel requirements for
tourism. Minors, accompanied by adults, can be exempted from the Baguio City vaccination and COVID-19 test travel requirements.
The daily tourist cap has been removed via the updated
travel guidelines and travel requirements of Baguio City. Before, the daily tourist cap in Baguio City for tourism was 5,000 per day as of December 2021.
