The province of
Batangas is placed under GCQ or general community quarantine until May 31, 2021. As a response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the province continues to implement strict safety and travel protocols for guests who are permitted to enter its premises. As such,
Batangas’ new travel guidelines were rolled out. While Batangas doesn’t allow travels for leisure just yet and only limits movements to accessing basic needs, its health protocols and safety guidelines are still worth noting. Read below and find out
Batangas’ new travel guidelines under the general community quarantine status.
Travel Guidelines
If you ever find the need to travel to the province for business or work purposes, below are the following safety protocols and guidelines that you must remember:
• Minimum public health standards must be followed at all times.
• The movement of all people is limited to accessing essential goods and services and work in permitted offices and/or industries.
• Movement in and out of areas under enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) and modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) are only allowed to authorized persons outside residence (APORs).
• The following are recognized IDs: IATF ID, valid ID/pertinent document issued by permitted establishments, and local IDs (if required by the local government unit).
• The following are required to stay at home at all times: people below 18 years old and above 65 years old; those with immunodeficiency, comorbidities, and other health risks; and pregnant women.
• Local government units may lower age restrictions to 15 years old.
