Vegans who are always on the go have more
convenient options as the number of
meal delivery services in Manila is also growing. One that you can take advantage of is
Herbivora. Launched in 2017, Herbivora offers a range of meals that follow the vegan and plant-based eating lifestyle as they do not contain meat or dairy products, processed ingredients, artificial flavors, preservatives, or even MSG.
One of their most well-known dishes is the
BBQ Pulled Jackfruit Burger (PhP145). It looks like a regular burger, but this version is filled with vegetables and strips of jackfruit. You can catch Herbivora at
Good Food Sunday Market at
Mandala Park in Shaw Boulevard, and at
Z Compound in Teacher’s Village.
How to get to Mandala Park: From EDSA you can ride a bus or the MRT Line 3 and alight at Shaw Boulevard Station. From Shaw Boulevard, you can ride a Grab, Uber, or taxi to Mandala Park. Mandala Park is open every Sunday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
