Relaxing in a spa is also a form of self-care that everyone should try.
Being a responsible adult means facing various strains: deadlines after deadlines, challenging projects, constant traffic, bills, and other work-related stress. Every day, you put yourself under a lot of pressure, and every day this pressure piles up until it becomes knots in your shoulder and aches in your body.
This is why you need to unwind and relax your tired muscles! Stress-free environments such as massage spas are great venues for your much-needed pampering—after all, you deserve a little R&R (rest and relaxation) massage spa session every so often. With that, here are some of the new spas in Manila you can check out .
1. Marina Bay Spa and Lifestyle Club
Where:Esplanade Seaside Terminal, Seaside Blvd., Mall of Asia Complex
Operating hours:10:00 AM to 12:00 AM
Marina Bay Spa and Lifestyle Club opened its doors last October at Pasay City.
For many, the idea of having a buffet inside a spa seems too far-fetched; fortunately, Marina Bay Spa and Lifestyle Club is wholly willing to give us its best. From the group that brought us the Vikings buffet chain comes Marina Bay’s own twist to how we enjoy our spa treatments. Taking ground within the Mall of Asia Complex, the spa now caters to tired and hungry Filipinos who are in dire need to indulge themselves with much-needed massage and meals.
Despite being more known for their delicious food, they certainly don’t fall behind in terms of amenities. Besides relaxing in the massage sessions, guests can also indulge themselves to various recreational activities such as KTV, billiards, fitness center, mah jong, and buffet dining. Massage services start at PhP1,500.
2. Moon Spa & Massage
Where:5354 2nd Floor Gen Luna Street, Brgy. Poblacion, Makati City

5. Sands Spa and Massage
Where:1 Brixton St, Kapitolyo Pasig City
Operating hours:3:00 PM to 12:00 MN
Sands is a tranquil facility that lies within the busy city, but is completely void of its noise.
Sands Spa and Massage is the brainchild of three women entrepreneur friends who sought to find their own sense of balance and relaxation. The trio envisioned a place where they can relax and find balance away from their stressful work environments. Thus, they came up with Sands Spa and Massage, a relaxation facility that opened its doors just last December 2017.
From the name itself, you can already expect that the spa’s services and interiors are inspired by the tranquility that staying on the beach offers. Some of the services they offer include body massage, foot spa, hand spa, cupping, and hand and foot paraffin treatment. The rate for a body massage is at PhP400 while a deluxe foot spa session costs PhP660. A hand spa session will cost you PhP580, while a whole body treatment is at PhP900.
